Kayla's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Makayla did so great her first day of Kindergarten -- I was so proud of her.  Of course I cried, even though I thought I was ready for this.  I can't believe my little girl has grown up so fast.

Camping Kimberly

We love to go camping and finally got to go this year.  One of our favorite places to camp is up on Kimberly; just above Richfield and the Fremont Indian Museum.

 James had a blast playing with this flower.  He made the funniest face when his daddy tickled him with it.

 I may be a mean mom, but I happened to have the camera when she fell and just couldn't resist snapping this picture for blackmail in the future ;)

 We put Emma to bed below Makayla and then she ended up on the floor pretty early on in the night.  Then every time I got up with James she would be farther up the trailer.  This is where I found her in the morning (up as far as she could go or she probably would have been farther)

 The little stream by our campsite was so much fun for the girls and Mommy too -- we wrote their names with rocks in the stream.  Here is Kayla's

This "Little Grand Canyon" was pretty cool to see.  There was a large fire up on the mountain a year ago and you can drive up higher than where we camped and see where the fire destroyed the mountain.  They have had some flash floods and lots of errosion because of the fire.

"Beauty and the Beast"  Even though the fire destroyed alot of the mountain side it was neat to see it was starting to come back already.

Emma's Growth Chart

I loved painting this one.  Of course since I love butterflies it made it all the better, and painting the quote on was a lot of fun -- it actually came to life right before my eyes as I painted each letter.

County Fair

I entered a few things in the County Fair this year.  It was a lot of fun to get involved and then go and see the items on display.  Makayla was running around looking for mommies items and the girls were so cute when they told me I did a good job.

My Crazy Kids

I love my kids!!!  They keep my life interesting.  Everyday I am amazed, overjoyed, overwhelmed, and made to laugh so hard I cry, and I love every minute of it.

 Little James isn't quite old enough for crazy antics, but mom helped him out with his first mohawk :)

 Little Emma asked if she could wear her swimming suit and I told her yes, so she ran into her room and got it on all by herself -- 2 swimming suits, one of them on backwords, made up her wardrobe that whole day.

Makayla decided her breakfast bowl made a great hat for her little brother (Mom's just glad she only wanted dry cereal that day for breakfast)

We took James swimming for the first time at Grammy and Pampa's house -- He is 4 months old now and so much fun.  He loved the water!!!

He got cold pretty fast, but enjoyed watching everyone else swimming while he got warm wrapped in his towel

This isn't the best quality picture, but it is one of my favorites ever.  Makayla wanted to go down the slide so bad, but this picture captures the pure terror she felt.  Needless to say, she only went down the once.

Cove Fort Days

We went to Cove Fort Days again this year and had fun watching with the girls on the wagon and carriage rides (Richard says we should just call it Wagon Ride Days since that is all the girls want to do)

They have all kinds of activities for the kids --- here Makayla is using an olden day drill

They had tons of diffrerent wagon and horse teams for you to ride -- we went on almost all of them.

Makayla told me her favorite were the polkadot ponies (appaloosas)



Helpers

Well we decided it was time for the girls to get some chores, so I made up a little chore chart and the girls couldn't be happier (haha I wonder how long this lasts).  They have been the cutest little helpers!!!
